IFRC Disaster Law is undertaking an initiative to map the IDRL frameworks in sub-saharan Africa. The map below illustrates the countries in which IDRL mappings have been conducted, as well as those where mappings are currently underway or planned for the future. A dedicated country page has been developed for each country mapped, which provides key information regarding the DRM framework of that country, as well as legal facilities relating to international disaster assistance which may be available to the country’s Red Cross or Red Crescent National Society, the IFRC, or other international assisting actors in the country.
